As a Somatic Counselor/Body Psychotherapist with a focus on Client-Centered therapy, I consider myself a guide for clients as they discover and build awareness of sensation and movement as ways to discover insights into their thoughts and emotions.

Through Body Psychotherapy, clients will be able to develop skills that bring them closer to the personal histories held by their bodies, and in doing so, shed light on how they can move more fluidly between their own sense of the world and achieving the growth they desire.

I am also committed to integrating social justice and intercultural perspectives into my practice as a therapist.  I do so by providing counseling and facilitation in areas of multicultural identity, intercultural communication, and diversity training.  I believe the field of Body Psychotherapy has tremendous potential to support individuals experiencing these issues, namely because power, privilege, oppression, and inclusion are embodied experiences.

As such, I aim to support building skills in non-verbal communication and sensory awareness in individuals and communities today, both as a counselor and as an advocate.
